TRAIN TO BE A COLLECTOR REFUND POLICY

OFFICIAL INSTITUTION TUITION REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

1. SCOPE OF POLICY
This policy governs all cancellations, drops, and institutional withdrawals for the 40-hour Certified Medical Screening & Specimen Collection Specialist program. It applies universally to students utilizing state-funded voucher programs (such as the Next Level Jobs Workforce Ready Grant) and students paying out-of-pocket via private cash, check, or credit card.

2. STATE REIMBURSEMENT VOUCHER ENROLLEES

  • Withdrawals within Days 1–5 (First Week): If a student withdraws or fails to meet attendance thresholds during the first day of the 2-week cohort, the state-issued training voucher is canceled. No tuition fees are invoiced to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD), and no financial debt is incurred by the student.

  • Withdrawals after Day 2 : THERE IS NO REFUNDS

3. PRIVATE PAY & NON-VOUCHER ENROLLEES (OUT-OF-POCKET)
For students who do not qualify for a state voucher and choose to self-fund their tuition of $2,450.00, the following prorated refund schedule applies to all

Cancellation Prior to Program Start: Students who cancel their registration in writing up to 48 hours before Day 1 are entitled to a 100% full refund ($2,450.00).

If the academy must cancel an entire cohort session due to an emergency or low local enrollment, all private-paying students will receive an immediate 100% full refund within 5 business days, and all voucher enrollees will have their state vouchers freed for immediate rescheduling.
