This Entrepreneur Development Academy is a 6-week business training program designed to equip aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs with the practical knowledge and skills needed to develop, launch, and strengthen a business. The program provides structured instruction in business formation, strategic planning, branding, marketing, pricing, sales, business systems, customer development, and funding preparation.

Through instructor-led training, hands-on activities, and business development exercises, participants learn how to create a strong business foundation, identify their target market, develop profitable services or products, and implement strategies for long-term sustainability.

The program is designed to support workforce development by increasing entrepreneurial skills, encouraging self-employment opportunities, and preparing participants to create businesses that contribute to economic growth within their communities. Participants complete a business launch plan and gain the confidence and foundational skills necessary to pursue entrepreneurship and business ownership opportunities.

What You Will Learn

  • Week 1: Foundations & Legal — Form an LLC/CORP, register an EIN, set up business banking, and master legal compliance.

  • Week 2: Strategy & Positioning — Build your mission, conduct market research, run a SWOT analysis, and pinpoint target customers.

  • Week 3: Branding & Marketing — Create a unique brand identity, master storytelling, and build a social media content plan.

  • Week 4: Products & Profit — Package services, execute cost analysis, map out revenue goals, and build pricing strategies.

  • Week 5: Systems & Sales — Deploy a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, automate bookings, and build sales funnels.

  • Week 6: Funding & Pitching — Navigate business credit, source grants, complete a Business Launch Plan, and pitch your vision.
